Sichuan Province, Shangxiang Rose Eco-Agricultural Development Co. Ltd. was established in 2013 with a registered funding of $38 million. It is an industry based on organic rose cultivation, processing and marketing, based on a “corporate + base + farmer” business model and integrated into agriculture, industry, trade, tourism and business chains. It is the State Enterprise for High Technology, the National Pilot Enterprise for Intellectual Property Protection, the Science and Technology Small and Medium Enterprises, the Sichuan Specialized and New Priority Enterprises, the Sichuan Provincial Forest Industry Industry and Development Corporation, the Sichuan Provincial Rose Modern Forest Plantation, and the South Cheng City Agricultural Industry and Industry Corporation. The company has built itself more than 3,000 acres of roses for organic cultivation, plans for 600 acres of rose valley tourism, construction of 30 acres of rose-products processing plants and more than 5,000 square metres of standardized production workshops. Products developed and produced by companies on their own initiative include organic rose tea, organic rose skin protection, and rose sauce, which have been certified through ISO 9001:2,200 quality management systems, as well as Chinese organic product certification and EU organic certification.
